Sweatshirt Dress

I ordered this dress from Old Navy and when it came in yesterday, I couldn't wait to wear it... DH came home for a break in his day and took on look and let's just say he wasn't impressed.. I however. love the comfort level of this for my stay at home, homeschooling, maybe walk to the grocery store days...
I went more sporty this time, but will try opposite juxtapositions in the future..

Temps for the remainder of the week are still quite warm with high 70's to low 8o's...

I like it - I used to have one very similiar but with the drawstring at the empire line. What doesn't your DH like about it?

I like it too....you look good. This dress appears soft and comfortable for days at home and the activities of daily living. I love the way you have styled it to give a modern, sporty vibe. In this instance, you may need to ignore DH's opinion!

I like this too - I have a sweatshirt dress that I wear to work and it's hard to care what anyone thinks when you feel that comfy.

So nice! It looks flattering to me. I wonder what your DH doesn't like? Are you strongly effected by his opinion when it comes to what you wear? Comfort plus style seems like a great plus. I wore my sweatshirt dress today. It's a bit like wearing pajamas because it's so cozy.

Oh, I saw this in the O.N. store last night and if I would have had the time I would have tried it on because it really appealed to me! Now, seeing it on you makes me think I need to take a trip back to the store! I love the way you've styled this with a sporty look - and you look great in it!

I adore sweatshirt dresses but so far I have not found one that actually looks good on me:( I do prefer styles that are waist surrendering but this is very flattering and would be a great casual dress for running around.

sweatshirt dresses are awesome! I run too warm to be layering all the time, so I was excited to discover that I could order some of these dresses in tall online and get more length. I'm only 5'6", but a tad long waisted, which means the torso usually fits better, too!

I LOVE sweatshirt dresses ! So much so that every time I see one at Roots or Gap , I buy one I like mine tied lower on the hip almost, and found that a "slippery" lycra based legging (not shiny though ) works really well as an under piece ) doesn't stick to the dress). Or, I wear it bare legged. Love this one of yours !

Thanks ladies, my husband doesn't like my sporty looks too much...
If it was up to him, I'd wear heels 24 /7....LOL... He thought it was too plain...Perhaps he likes my more maximal style????
I am a very strong woman and no his opinion does not really sway me much in my personal style , after all it's personal...I do wear heels for date nights to suit him, but I love them and as a stay at home mother, wish I had more days to wear heels..
