Hello.

Winter stopped by for a visit this week. We even got a couple of inches of snow (which shuts everything down because they do not salt or plow, it's so rare to get snow there's no equipment for it). As a transplant from the Northeast, I actually own a shovel, which all my neighbors borrowed.

With the cold weather in town, I'm enjoying wearing some of my warmest sweaters this week paired with jeans and boots. Sweaters, jeans, and boots is such an easy and cozy outfit combination when it's cold outside.

#1 to #3 - Stripes and Wide Legs
This Lucky Brand taupe/ivory striped mockneck sweater has been a workhorse this season because the colors are really versatile. The Paige Vintage Brunette Wide Leg jeans I added in the fall and they have been another really versatile piece. I'm surprised it's taken me this long to pair these two workhorse items together!

#4 to #6 - Navy and Black
These black Ecco knee high boots don't get worn often because I favor wide leg jeans and pants right now versus skinnies and tall boots. (The last time I wore the boots is in the second outfit in this post WIW - Keeping It Simple).

However, I always enjoy when I wear these boots because the fit is simply PERFECT (plus they are comfy). The navy Vince tunic vneck sweater is one of my warmest sweaters, especially when paired with a silk scarf. No good lighting this day, I barely squeezed taking these photos before the snow started.

Thanks for looking!
