Star - Our snow melts fast, within 2 days it's all gone. That's a nice change from living in the northeast, where snow can stick around for months!
Sisi - I also noticed outfit #1 matched the trees very well! For outfit #2, I think the tall boots and skinny jeans switched up that outfit nicely. Thanks for looking!
kkards - *high five for a comfy winter weather uniform* Boots, sweaters, and jeans, it's so simple and comfy.
Aquamarine - It's nice to switch things up with tall boots and skinnies sometimes. I wear a lot of wide legs right now so when I wear skinnies it's a refreshing change! Thanks for looking!
Cookie - The tall boots are a repeat purchase of a pair of Eccos I had that wore out. The arch support inside the boot wore out after 200+ wears. I liked the boots so much for comfort and the fit around the calf I bought them again and kept them as a backup until recently. I expect this new pair to last for at least as many wears as the old pair did.
Jenni NZ - I was lucky to get a photo before the snow came to our area. My next WIW photo will have snow in it, but it's already gone. Snow melts with in a day or two around here. Thanks for looking!
Angie - DH was very proud that he kept the snow shovels when we moved. We don't use them often anymore, but they do come in handy. I was uncertain about adding earth tones, but they have worked so well with the blues in my wardrobe. It's nice when you take a chance on something new and it works out!
SarahD8 - Out of all the combinations I've worn the taupe striped sweater with this season, outfit #1 is my favorite. And yes, the tunic with skinny jeans has definite urban snow queen vibes. You'd look lovely in this outfit.
Jaime - It's fun to mix up the silhouettes sometimes. Plus, it keeps me from growing bored.
