Summery wiw's, boho top and shorts, dresses

We've had temps in the hundreds for a couple of weeks! Ugh. Here's what I've been wearing...
1-shorts! I had been thinking about sticking to linen pants and dresses this summer, but heat-induced delirium had me cutting off some less-loved pants...
2- boho top/shorts inspired by Angie.
3-a homemade dress from years ago
4-a new dress from Toad &co
5- I've been wearing more red lately, for a change (usually I'm "team cool colors")
6-I'm somehow not as into this dress as i thought, styling tips welcome...I've worn it several times with different shoes- i think it's the high neckline that's been bothering me.
7-from before the heat wave, but posting because I wore these cropped jeans a ton this june. Super comfortable and easy to wear...

Everything you are wearing has an easy flow to it, which is so comfortable for hot weather. No 7 outfit is very nice also. I hope you get relief from all that heat very soon.

We've been having the same awful temps. Your outfits look great for the weather. I really like 6. It's a perfect fit, smart casual look, great color.

I love the dress in 6 and would wear it in a heartbeat but you could have a tailor change the neckline to something that you like better. It's a great dress.

I like #4 and #6 dresses, colours are great on you.
The neckline of #6 looks good, maybe tie up your hair like in #4 if you want to elongate your neck.
It's always hard to tell with a pic, but I think the old red dress is too big for you now.

Good hot-weather looks. The dress in 6 looks fine, but perhaps a little bit big? Maybe if you could take in the side seams a bit and get rid of some fabric you'd like it better. I find these kind of dresses comfy but usually dislike the lack of structure.

These are great looks! I really like the cold shoulder top in #1 and the crop jeans with lace in #7.

Can you turn the dress in #6 around and wear it backwards? The bird top in my recent post is actually on backwards because I like the back neckline better than the front.

Great outfits for summer weather. Of the shirts outfits I like #2 best. Of the dresses I actually prefer #6 and like it as you've styled it. But I can understand that the neckline might not feel right.

My eye went right to #2 (fab!!!) and the dress in #6. I love it on you, but if the neckline bothers you, how about wearing with your hair back or up and see if that helps?

You are doing really well dressing for extreme heat. And I think you've nailed why the dress isn't working. All of your other outfits have either a vneck or a scoopneck except for this dress.

Thanks everyone! It's helpful to hear your reactions and tips...I will not give up on the purple dress yet and will try with hair up. It looks like we'll have plenty more hot days coming up to perfect my heat-wave style.

I also especially like 2 and 6. I have a somewhat similar dress with a high neckline that also bothers me but I always get compliments when I wear it. Perhaps it is hard to see on ourselves?
