This is what I wore to work today. The gold in the skirt is not a color I can wear by my face, but in the skirt, it’s far enough from my face that I think it’s okay. It’s feather light and I like how the handkerchief hem moves when I walk. This is my second summer with the skirt, which came from Target. I’ve been wearing sneakers with skirts and dresses a lot this summer, more for the comfort factor than the trend factor. Normally I would wear black footies instead of white with my black sneakers, but the black ones are in the laundry. My hair used to be very dark brown; even though it’s been grey (or, as DH says, platinum) for several years, I’m still not used to seeing it on myself!
Do you think the outfit needs a necklace? I have earrings on, and the skirt is a statement piece, so I opted to go without a necklace.
