Suz had her white bread woman and KKards vanilla girl - so this is my white bread vegemite sandwich. Vegemite is an Australian icon, being a dark savoury food spread. I was wearing this before seeing KKards and Suz's posts and thought it would be fun to add to the white-out thread. I like how the statement black belt adds structure and interest to the white dress. Vegemite sandwiches are definitely a favourite in my household, my son eats one most days!
We are now in the start of the hottest weather, which will continue for another 2 months. My formula in summer is to wear cotton and silk dresses that are light and easy to wear and add interest with accessories.
Previously I have waivered on whether to get a Gucci GG belt and then I found this one. This GG belt is the right one for me, its crazy oversize and pearls make it wearable for me in the way that a smaller and restrained GG belt never felt right for my style.
I read a biography on Elizabeth Taylor - Elizabeth Taylor, The Grit and Glamour of an Icon and admired her attitude of living life to the fullest. I don't see an amazing jewellery collection being part of my future but wearing the good stuff and embracing an over-the-top glam style to have fun is a goal for 2023.
