Joy, I think you're at a higher elevation than me, so I can testify that you're probably going to need a sweater/light jacket for mornings/evenings all through the summer. I get cranky on the rare days that the overnight low doesn't drop below the 60s. A lightweight (linen, maybe?) pullover is one of the items I'm still on the lookout for. I have other pieces that fill that gap, but it'd be nice.
Sal, my palette is slightly looser than it looks here, as I still have a lot from past years. I focused quite a bit on essentials this season. I'm really happy to be more in maintenance/refresh mode now, and would love to buy only this much or less for future updates.
Barbara Diane, did you notice how few brands I actually ended up buying from? Maybe there will be a point where boredom starts me turning proverbial stones again, but it's such an exercise in frustration that, right now, I'm happy to just go with what works.
Thanks, Sisi!
Style Fan, I think that small change between black/brown makes your palette so much more earthy than mine. We could easily have a bunch of overlapping pieces, though.
Laura, I have the same problem, and am actually having the elastic tightened a bit on the EF linen pants. The Eddie Bauer ones stay up well, and they have a jogger version in the same line that come with a drawstring. I wore the joggers a lot last season, but replaced them with these, because they seemed to get shorter with every wash.
RobinF, it's hard to gauge what you're going to need before you hit those super-hot days, but I needed to act early this year because of a planned vacation to a hotter climate.
