I’ve mentioned on @runcarla post that paid more for one of my new skirts ( sorta duplicate for my favorite from last summer). So this is the skirt from Express - sale item from previous season- shorten by 3” and a bit taken in the waist ( was wrong size ). The white in the skirt isn’t the clear white that I prefer and mismatches my other pieces - but I decided to ignore it .
The midi length hides my knee sleeve support that I keep wearing all summer.
Potentially I can wear it with denim jacket ( not allowed at work ) or try it with black moto leather jacket ( too hot for our summer ).

Love the print and the asymmetric hemline! So fresh and fun in all iterations. I love this on you. Looks fab with the "shirt jacket" in 4! That's a great summer topper idea. White moto is too cool!

#1 has a lovely 1920s feel to it. Elegant.

#3 is a little rock 'n roll. Fun!

#5 is hello fab '80s ....and signature with the fab graphic tee. Mismatched whites are very now. Looks great.

How do your hem a pleated skirt? I didn't know that could be done....YAY it can!

Awesome skirt. reminds me of marble! You have such a great tee collection, too. The skirt looks great with the moto, perfect match or not. I feel like tonal white/light neutral outfits have become a big thing over the past few years, very Instagram chic!

Fabulous skirt, and inspired styling! YLF! The perfect easy breezy thing for hot days. (Whilst visiting my mom, I wore my red pleated skirt and got two compliments from strangers!)

Out of curiosity, is it washable? So many pleated skirts are dry clean only.

(Angie, I’ve had a pleated skirt hemmed. In my case they just cut the fabric using special scissors that give a very clean finish.)

Thank you everyone for the praise and compliments! I was a bit hesitant about keeping that skirt - ordered first time and returned ( thought it was too much for me ). Ordered again in a bigger size - it was the only one left - and even paid for shipping ( almost never do that ).
The skirt is 100% polyester but soft and comfy against my skin and never gives me static electricity ( still amazed ).
It’s washable and so far I only did spot wash - worked great.
Shortening was relatively easy - or maybe my seamstress is that good.
The soft white in the print was not working with some of my fav tops but eventually I found a few options - still working on others.

Thank you ladies! It's a joy to read all the responses - especially "classic, statement, modern" ( thank you @Sal ! ).
Thank you for compliments on my styling - it helps to strive to be more creative and not to fall into "tried and true" trap ( it happens more often with me ).
I'd probably never picked up midi skirts for myself without the help and inspirations from all YLF forum members and of course Angie as a wonderful guide.

I love this skirt on you - all outfits are sublime, your styling is much more interesting than the models although that is a way to wear it into cooler weather. A great purchase.
