When i visited my parents in July, my mom and I spent some time going through her closet. She got rid of several things and this simple black knit dress was passed down to me. Given the tags and the shape I'm guessing it's from the late 80s or early 90s. I thought it was a good start on Angie's casual black dress for summer ensemble. (Funny thing, the necklaces looked a lot more visually dominant IRL - the photos make them seem less substantial but there are three of them.) Does this look OK to you guys?
I've continued to track my outfits for the August challenge. I realized this week that tracking shoes together with clothing doesn't make that much sense, especially in summer - I only have so many summer shoes so I'm repeating them more often than any clothes. I continue to do more mixing and matching than exact repeats. Even with dresses, I like to change up my shoes or jewelry when I can.
