BlueJay and Angie, I try to buy clothes that are more timeless than trendy. In the case of the 2-year kimono delivery, that turned out to be a very good thing!
SarahD8, I’m waving at my skirt-&-tank sister-if-not-twin across the miles. Glad you like that mix in 4-5. That tank is the one I’m calling tan, and I wasn’t sure it went so well with the rest. I’ve had Clarks before—super comfortable.
Angie, Nikki, Lana, Brooklyn, Blue Jay, Zaoebi, thanks for the “school shoes” love. I’m keeping my eyes peeled, but also hoping Pikolinos will take a cue from that style’s popularity last season and reprise it later this year. Z, I’ve gone sockless in shoes for decades. I let them air out at night, maybe a few days between wears. It seems to work. Shrug.
Blue Jay, come on over! And thanks for the compliment. I had big body goals for this month, pushed too hard and injured myself, now am unhappily watching progress slip away.
Sal, no worries on the colors. I have been trying to figure out what it is about summer dressing that I like so much, because I want to isolate that element and infuse it into my winter dressing, even though it may take on a different flavor there. I think I’ve got part of it figured out—have been making a plan for this fall/winter.
