Sick of me yet? Sorry I seem to have so many posts in the last couple of days. Trying to get some decisions made with your wise input before MIL moves in and I may have less time here.

As you may recall, I had posted a thread about my summer fun money (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....a-bit-long) and what to spend it on for fall. DS and DH have already figured out what they’re spending their portion on. The point of the fun money is to spend it within the next few weeks as part of summer as we are not able to get away this year (and before it gets sucked up by something NOT so fun!). I’m wanting to purchase items that I will then tuck away until fall and that will start my fall wardrobe off with a “bang”!

So far I’ve purchased the Jeffrey Campbell patent heeled oxfords (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ll-oxfords) and the Fossil two-toned handbag (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....bag-update) – thanks to Natalie (*waving*). This leaves me with approximately $600 Canadian left to spend.

I’ve decided another item to maximize my spending is a black leather blazer/jacket. I’m working on finding that now (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....her-jacket).

Then I’m thinking of adding these two dresses from Nordstrom (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/ma.....tback=1011 and http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/su.....tback=2325) – despite my whining about duty and shipping. I think both of these could be flattering (as in helping to disguise “issues”) and come in petite. As well, both would work with many of my jacket and footwear options. I know Kari likes these dresses as she has both of them on her list too! What do you think?

This would mean my final fun money purchases towards my fall wardrobe would be:

- Three-toned patent oxfords
- Leather jacket
- Two dresses
- Two-toned leather handbag

I think that’s pretty good use out of the money. Anna’s original suggestion for the funds was a higher end handbag and a great fitting jacket. That really stuck in my mind. Would love to hear your thoughts...and thank you so much for the indulgence and forum hogging!
