Having read Angie's post, I was thinking back to all of the mixed metal looks I've seen & I realised something - I've only ever seen it done with mid- & cool-toned metals, such as pewter, gunmetal & bronze (see photo). Whilst there's nothing wrong with these, I find the look too edgy & not high contrast enough for my style (I like to wear saturated colours, but not too bright). I also have neutral undertones & could do with some warmth from warmer metals, lol! So my question is two-fold:

1) Is there such a thing as mixing yellow gold with sterling silver or white gold (for example), or is that too much?

2) Do any of you have any examples of successful metal mixing in an outfit (whatever your undertones), & wouldn't mind sharing what you thinks makes them look successful? I think some visual examples may really help me be more sold on this idea.

Many thanks!
