Exceptional quality piece. Beautifully made. I was WOWED. Luxe fabric, water-repellent, fab fit, fun Modern Retro integrity, and gorgeous gold hardware. (Warning: you have to be on Team Gold to love the hardware - which is what drew me in right away). Very comfy and looks Casually Chic & Polished. Removable hood with side entry pockets are great. A style with a high longevity-factor.

Sleeves are long - even on very long armed me. But can be shortened no problem. Has worked on petites who aren't that petite.

INCREDIBLE Pucci-espque lining and back pleat detailing. See pics.

Colours are accurate. Tomato Red and Bone. Both colours work well with my complexion and wardrobe, and I'm deciding on the colour.

CONTEXT: I have a wardrobe hole. Now that I travel to the Netherlands to see my Dad very regularly, I need a casual rain coat that travels well for the Spring - (and Summer if the Nethetlands has a cool Summer) - because I'm on foot and using public transport while I'm there. My shiny citron trench is a bit dressy for hanging out with my Dad in his very quaint little Dutch town. My new Club Monaco trench coat that I got last year is fabulous and looks chic and pulled together - but it creases terribly, which drives me batty. Not a good travelling coat. I will keep that for client meetings and going out in Seattle.

Both colours work well with my Spring sneaks, white jeans and citron and turquoise Furlas. DECISION TIME. Looks like Sam made his decision, but I'm not swayed yet.

ETA: More A-line in person.
