I’ve owned a pair of black faux-leather joggers for a few years now. They are super comfy, fleece lined, a bit too big but beyond the skills of my expensive-yet-untalented tailor.

In the past I’ve tried to fancy them up: tuxedo blazer, heels, ruffles. But it always takes a huge effort and in the end looks just OK. Like, it would look better with different pants.

This week I’ve been trying to go with the casual vibe. Pics 1-3, today’s outfit: with layers and backpack for outdoors (1), indoors (2), mustard detail on shoe, intended to pick up mustard-ish sweater (3). I thought the sweater would add some texture, and the sporty stripe went well with the sneakers (which I wanted to wear cuz it was a 7-mile-walking day). Then I also tried it with denim jacket, hoodie, embroidered Converse (4-5).

What say you? I think these looks are fine for early-morning errands. But it’s not how I like to look all day long. I think they will be designated for loungewear while traveling- perfectly cozy and stylish for hotel breakfast (can’t really use them for home loungewear because cat claws will destroy the finish). This may sound overly specific, but I travel a lot, so it will fill a need.
