When Rachylou suggested I give convention a little kick and do Nicole Richie as a style icon, I couldn't resist, and this is what I came up with. While I love her boho looks, in this outfit I tried to capture more of her rock & roll edge. I'm not sure I succeeded, but it sure was fun trying! I wore this to visit some local wineries and go out to dinner.

#4 is my casual SJP rendition. You can't see it, but I am wearing my gold "K" necklace, a nod to her "Carrie" necklace from SATC. This might have worked better with faded jeans, but I hadn't worn my Gap boyfriend jeans in a while and I just wanted to wear them. This was worn for a causal coffee outing with a friend.
