But hey, I was hoping to see a pic of you in the garage ransacking the garage fridge, lol Ok, no I feel your pain and then the boredom. I'd go around to the backyard and take a nap. I bought a lounge chair for this...can you tell I have experience?

These are great summer looks. I love those polka dot pants as well. I also really like the outfit with the black shorts. I hope you get into the house soon. I've had to break into my house by climbing through a bathroom window that was left cracked when locked out. I'm sure it was highly amusing if anyone had seen me.

I'm glad to hear you got back into your house. The A/C on our top floor--where all of the bedrooms are--hasn't worked since Saturday, so I can relate to how you felt in the heat. Our bedroom is above the garage, which makes it even worse.

Thanks, Angie! I knew you'd like #4. Once I figured out that the pants were screaming for a more fitted top, the rest just fell together. Definitely a dainty shoe lover! Other than (rather dainty) booties and gear sneakers, all my shoes are on the dainty side.

Lisa, you are ridiculously sweet! Just for the record, there are plenty of days that don't warrant a WIW pic!

JAileen, you have your husband better trained than I do! Mine said, "go enjoy a nice lunch while you wait". Ha! I couldn't have even gone to a fast food joint looking that way.

Oh no, BC. I hope you've been sleeping in the living room since Saturday! That's the worst.

No fridges in those Canadian garages, Suz? No space heaters here, for sure...unless you count the patio heaters we get to bring out each January so we can still enjoy the deck;-) Glad you like 1 and 5! Summer casual has always been a challenge for me because of the heat. Trying to put some focus there these days.

Sally, shorts are just hard. I really struggle to be happy in them. I'm okay standing in them, but then you sit down, and I'm overly focused on the thigh until I get to stand up again;-)

We have a freezer in our garage, so I'd be eating ice-cream...with my fingers with sips of homemade limoncello. I'm glad you got in before getting heat stroke. Each of your outfit is fabulous. My favorites are 2,3 and 4. They are streamlined and polished.
