Yesterday morning I took a page from Angie and wore this striped lightweight black and white sweater, which I really like for the nice fit and V-neck. I spent a full day photographing at an amazing botanical garden about two hours away from me — they offer timed admission now during Covid and restrict the number of visitors per day, so I feel pretty safe visiting there.
When I am out working, taking photos, I generally wear rough and tumble type pants like hiking pants because I constantly sit, kneel, crouch, etc, to make photographs. So yesterday I wore these Eddie Bauer twill joggers. They’re a little short but I just go with it.
I needed my feet to be comfortable so I went with my Adidias white sneakers. They are the kind of shoes that I can walk all day in and never have to think about my feet. A step up stylewise from my hiking boots or running shoes but still very functional.
Covering it all up was an old, old convertible jacket from Calvin Klein, from I dunno, maybe ten years ago? It lived at the ranch for a while but I decided to bring it home. It’s one of those jackets on which you can zip out the sleeves and the bottom to make it a vest or a cropped style. And I added my old Zara butterfly scarf. I carried my new-to-me teal Aimee
Kestenberg backpack when I met up with friends for outdoor dinner afterwards.
Pic 5-6 is the same scarf and bag with a different outfit a few days ago.
Ironically, no one saw the stripes at all because my jacket stayed on all day and all evening! LOL It was a chilly and sometimes drizzly day.
Bonus: a bunch of iPhone pics from the day. The tulips are in bloom and just wonderful!
