Various things I have worn as the cold weather stretches on:
1. I thrifted this top and I swear some of the stripes are the same shade as the skirt yet the colors still look odd together, OH WELL. I think I just wore this at home.
2. Had all these for years. Except the necklace was a recent gift.
3. This was the coldest day of the year and the skirt, while not very wintry looking, was chosen on the basis that a whole other skirt fit under it without looking odd and the colors matched these two merino sweaters. With my ancient Patagonia parka over this, I was … still too cold to just hang around outside but it was acceptable for the day’s activities.
4. Re-wore the layered skirt concoction for my brother’s book party and was really TOO warm. The layered necklaces looked better in my head than in reality.
5. Trying this top again. Neither of these pieces is my usual thing but whenever I wear this color my partner says “You look nice today!” Also, a random man flirted with me in Spanish while I was out wearing this, haha. So keep?
6. I am rather proud of this necklace I made in college but don’t wear it very often.
7-8 Since I had thrift regrets about the last velvet skirt I didn’t buy, I did buy this one. It’s dark teal but impossible to photograph the color accurately.
