When Angie posted this ensemble I immediately loved it and was able to easily pull together some old wardrobe items like these: Doc Marcie's (and wondering if Suz and Transcona Shannon still have theirs), Commando dig-free black tights, black and white wraparound houndstooth skirt with black bow tie (purchased at a now-shuttered boutique), black turtleneck (origin unknown, because I often rip out uncomfy tags), DKNY white coat, red Calvin Klein purse.
In the last photo, I played around back-buttoning the coat to make it look more military-style, but I would probably wear it the traditional way.
One question: do you think I should add a pendant or pearls to break up the black color by my face? Or, do you think it's better keeping it simple?
I don't often wear this skirt; in fact, it's been years, and I'm happy Angie inspired me with her ensemble.
