Spring?! What Spring?!

I was so excited by Angie's round up today... And then my heart sank when I looked outside! Yesterday morning was 4C here (17F!)

I am forced to wear my new Spring dress with opaque black tights, a knit top inside and a leather jacket. Sigh...

So right! More like April or November! I wore a turtleneck sweater and jacket and saw that some folks were back in puffers! I painted my toes on June 1 , but only got to wear my sandals 1 day.

Well, your dress shows off your trim figure. I know what you mean about “What Spring?” It certainly isn’t summer here and we could still get snow. What we have had so far in June is rain and hail or a combination of snow and rain.

It’s only just got cold here (first week of winter). But we are expecting mid 20s (Celsius) again next week, so no complaints.

Brrrrrr. Lovely dress and good adaptation! I share your pain. We had snow 4 mornings last week (Lake Tahoe region). But yesterday we broke 70 F for the first time this year, so hopefully it comes your way soon!

I pulled some summer clothes from under the bed and tucked away some heavy sweaters. Probably jinxed it.

Painted MY toenails too, but no sandals yet! Spring has been more like an extended winter here.

Roxanna, you certainly made the best of it with your layering! I suppose I could wear my sandals........ with a layer of socks!!!!!!

Just realized you mentioned a top underneath your dress....what a smart idea (which somehow never occurred to me!).

We have barely had spring here in Toronto, and I'm not sure summer will every arrive this year, so I will try this idea!

The dress is great on you! Our spring has lingered on and on and summer just can't seem to get here. I live in NM and it snowed at the higher elevations just 2 weeks ago. Normally by this time of year we spend every evening in our pool but the water is still too cold to swim in this year.
