Spring weather is upon us and we are experiencing some warm days followed by cooler temps. So this is reflected in my WIWs.

Outfit 1 - what I wore to lunch with Anne! New white dress by Cue, with old (like 10 years old...) white tweed jacket and kitten heels, plus the special Owl bag (new). I love the idea of a white tweed jacket, but I am not sure if this is dated and needs to go. Your thoughts on whether to keep or edit out is appreciated.

Outfit 2 - grey jeans, uniqlo t-shirt and old (only 5 years this time) grey leather jacket.Worn with new lilac belt, bag and a white statement necklace. I did think of Sal with this outfit, because it was nice to wear two of my more interesting accessories (the belt and necklace).

Outfit 3 - worn to work on Melbourne Cup day, so tried to look a little festive, even though I was at work and not partying. Cream lace skirt, Zara pale pink knit, cream jacket (new) and cream boots (new). I now have white boots and cream boots. As my white boots are 3 years old, it was nice to find these cream boots because I was worried that I was wearing out all of my favourite shoes and not able to replace them. I like these cream boots even more than the old, because the fit on the ankle is sleeker.

Outfit 4 - After all those light colours, it was good to be back in black. Black pencil dress with sheer top and sleeves and cropped cape jacket with leopard bag. This dress is one of my favourite items, it is so easy to wear.

Outfit 5 - Brocade dress (new) and black cropped jacket, black boots and leopard bag. The print on the dress does not photograph that well, but the fabric is much nicer in real life.

In finds are some of my newer pieces. I am definitely someone who wears the new items with older wardrobe items. I have tried to add some lighter colours to my wardrobe this season - the Owl bag started it!
