I'm feeling pretty set for SS18. I've added a couple pairs of comfortable shoes in pretty colours (building up the blush and sage capsule I started last year). A new pair of black jeans arrived last week -- these are the Everlane Cheeky Straights. Not so much a spring item as an eternal HEWI.

I ordered a 25 and a 26, kept the 25. So I'd say these run TTS or a bit large. They fit really nicely everywhere and relax just enough with wear. Fabric is forgiving but has some substance. The black is a bit itchy, as black denim often is, but none of the other washes would be useful for me. I think they will soften up with washing. I hope they release these in a uniform dark rinse (like they have for the Skinnies) and I would LOVE a grey. Oh, and these are the Regular inseam, not the Ankle. They hit right above my ankle bone, and I can cuff them if I want them shorter -- shown both ways in #1-2. The extra length makes them more useful year round. (Sorry for the bedhead in the pics!)

The sneakers are a pair of Adidas Campus sneakers that I picked up on sale; I fell for the soft greyish minty sage colour. I ended up with a men's 71/2 because the 7's felt a little too snug over my arch and around my toes with socks on. If I planned to wear them barefoot, I could perhaps have taken my usual size. (I'm thinking I might try on some Chuck Taylors in a half size up and see if they're more comfortable that way -- I love the look but I gave up on them a couple years ago because they started hurting my feet, but it could be that I "outgrew" them!)

My blush Hobes arrived as well. Snug, glove-like fit, but incredibly soft, pliable suede (these I do plan to wear barefoot for sure!). I have to spray them with some suede protector before I wear them out of the house. #4 also shows yesterday's outfit, for our first sunny 80-degree day of the year (but worn with old navy canvas sneakers instead of the new shoes -- they just got here in the afternoon). Fun getting to pull out some summer clothes, even if it's just for a day!

#5 is a bonus WIW: we've been having a chilly spring, so I've been in boots and sweaters A LOT. The sweater here, from Uniqlo's 3D knit collection, is a perfect spring topper for skirts and high-waisted pants. It was a spontaneous impulse purchase and I am so, so glad I got it. The fit and drape are just wonderful.
