So here is the final outfit in this challenge. I have had so much fun putting the outfits together and even more watching all the fantastic interpretations the fabbers have come up with. Thank you Angie and thank you YLF!
I am actually not wearing this outfit today as it does not work for my plans at all - I am in the middle of packing and leaving for NYC for the weekend in couple of hours. The weather is horrible, rain mixed with snow for the first official day of the spring, urgh. But I do plan to wear it first chance next week when the weather is fine.
Here are the elements:
1. The woman in the painting is wearing a sheer white top, and there is a touch of blue, so that has been interpreted with sheer perforated white blouse and light wash jeans. She also happens to be blond like me
2. The background is composed of muted colors: light olive on the left reflected with the olive parka and mixed cognacs on the right reflected in three leather cognac accessories and faux fur trim on the parka hood.
3. Bright red has been interpreted with a red scarf. I did not have any appropriate bright yellow, but all the cognac leather pieces have gold hardware so hopefully that's a good approximation.
I will not be able to comment much on the forum till I am back on Sunday evening, so hope everyone has a great weekend!
