I am very late posting my today's outfit for the challenge, it has been a crazy day at work and I will most likely be working till almost midnight. Luckily my photos are on my phone so I am just going to do a quick post from it.
I tried to interpret today's painting by matching a couple (though not all) aspects of the painting:
1. The most obvious one is wearing a pine green top and cobalt blue bottom like the woman in the painting
2. There are little white touches to echo splashes of white in the painting (the watch and white on the bag), particularly the cutout belt to echo the eyelet detail on the arm in the painting
3. Similarly, some sharp black geometric lines in the photo are echoed with my black booties and satchel, as well as tuxedo stripe on the jeans and leather patch pockets on the sleeveless cardigan
4. The background is a bit muted, which I interpreted with an ink sleeveless cardigan thrown over the bright outfit
I would have loved to add a little touch of bright red/orange, but I do not own anything in those colors are red lips would stand to much at my super casual workplace.
I am not sure I will be able to comment till close to midnight, but I will be able to sneak a peak at the forum here and there.
