Today is my 21st wedding anniversary and I have officially been married half of my life! To celebrate we spent the day in St. Augustine, FL, the oldest city in the US. We ate, drank, shopped and laughed, and held hands like teenagers. It was magical. I thought that the amazing muted textures of the old streets and buildings played with my blue striped dress in a way that felt inspired by Picasso's "Young Girl Reading on the Beach". I have also included John's dramatic and adorable WIW pose (I thought his crisp white button down with jeans was wonderful in this environment, and he stood out in a sea of tourists in shorts and tees). I bought a lovely little jade bracelet from a tiny shop owned by an Asian couple, who gave us quite an education on jade. I've included some photos of the day, just for fun...
