Here are some recent outfit pics, worn on some unseasonably warm days, and other days that are more wishful thinking. We have entered "cold spring", when I stop with the endless black and grey, and pull out some colour, pastels, or lights in warm fabrications. For some reason, I can't remember (or find) what I used to wear, nor find outfit pics to remind me; so I've started a new set.

1. Breton T, navy pleated skirt, scarf; Chelsea boots for the weather. (This is usually more a summer look for me, sans boots.)

2. I satisfied my craving for something new, pastel/pink, and trendy, with this ice-pink lacy linen sweater vest (thrifted). Worn to church with white shirt, grey pencil skirt, and grey ballet flats (ground was dry enough to dare no boots).

3. Blue pinstripe shirt with toning floral scarf, and wide leg glen check pants. White socks with black loafers because I wanted the light contrast but not ready for bare ankles. I snapped the pic with my grey pea jacket (receptionist thought I was wearing a suit)

4. Pastel scarf from my sister, showcased by white T and brocade ankle pants. More white socks, with black Ecco sneakers this time.

5. Blue tunic dress (mullet hem) over white jeans. Suede desert boots. Not visible: new hair barrettes in similar blue.

6. Paisley pleated skirt in turquoise and teal, with teal sweater and turquoise-and-yellow scarf. Mild weather ending in rainstorm, so I wore these old kitten-heeled Mary Janes. The proportions of these shoes seemed off during the years of pointy toes and ankle straps, but today they looked ok. Are they ready for a new lease on life, or should they stay relegated to expendable rainweather footwear?

7. Bonus, table set for tea, with new spring-y tablecloth. (True spring lasts three weeks here, so I madly crave florals and pastels, then I'm as quickly over them.)
