Welcome to a WIWeek in which I try to model as many of my spring purchases as possible. That project is still being slightly hindered by the weather, though, which can't quite make up its mind which season we're in. As a result I only have one new item to show you today, but I'm keen for feedback on it.
I don't do boho. Pretty much ever. But for some reason I was taken with this top when I tried it on. The lace, embroidery, ilett details and other features felt tastefully executed, and I figured that getting something like this in white would diminish the inherent casualness enough to fit in with the rest of my wardrobe. I sincerely hope I'm right on this, but I feel I do need some guidance for those who are better at going boho.
It was quite chilly when I left for work this morning, so I paired this with the eggplant boyfriend-esque skinnies I wore all winter. I went with pewter wedges, Viva's Secret Santa Necklace, and my new satchell (which you're unlikely to see out of my hand any time soon). It was my hope that the sparkly necklace, structured gbag and metallic accents would also help ground the look in the slightly dressier territory I'm most comfortable with.
So, here it is. Tips? Guidance? Input of any description? The floor is yours.
