Spiegel Draped Leather Jacket - Size 10 - for now

I'll put my extra size Spiegel jacket out here for a day or so before returning -- in case anyone is interested but didn't/doesn't want to deal with Spiegel (not very customer friendly. . .)

I ordered 3 sizes (6,8,10) and am dithering between 6 and 8. Will probably go with 8, but need a few more tryings where 8 wins

Rae said her 2 is very oversized. I think these might be slightly oversized, but I have size 6 jackets (Gap), size 8 (Trina Turk , Lafayette 148, JCrew), and rarely size 10 (that NAS Tahari fit me in 10)!

I can get specific dimensions in a bit, if anyone expresses interest. The coat cost was $60.30 plus shipping to you (Whatever USPS cost from 55110 for 2-3 pounds from zip 55110).

Once I decide on size, there may be a 6 or 8 as well. Feel free to let me know if they're of any interest to you. Otherwise I may just up and return if I get motivated to clear out my returns . . .

Hmmm I wonder if this would it work as a commuting jacket for me.

Anna, what sort of commuting jacket are you thinking of? This one probably shouldn't be worn a lot in rain. Also, the way it closes is two snaps at the top, and one sort of at the waist. That isn't a very secure closing in my mind.

The inside half of the snap seems to be just attached to the ribbed fabric, so not very sturdy. That's not an issue to me as my plans are for wearing it open - like an unbuttoned cardigan.

I also have a 4 and 6, I was going to return them if nobody wants. I don't think these are my style--too tomboy for me. I am a UWP wannabe but I have to stop copying Rae and Una! Let me know if you want me to send it to you.

Frankly I only need it for summer commuting, which is dry. Here it's cool in the morning, then warms up by the end of the day.

Okay - measurements for all three sizes (because those might be sizes of Una's or Natalie's also)

Size 6: Shoulder (where sleeve meets shoulder top across back) 14.5", Sleeve (from top shoulder seam to hem) 25", Chest (from armpit to armpit) 18.5", Length (neck edge at collar seam to hem) 20.75", Bottom opening is not secure, but about 18.5

Size 8: Shoulder 14.75", Sleeve 25.5", Chest 19", Length 21.25", bottom opening 19.25"

Size 10: Shoulder 15.25", Sleeve 25.75", Chest 19", Length 21.75", bottom opening 19.75"

I know the variations aren't as consistent as one would think, but it might be me, it might be the bit of new leather fluff, . . .

I'd be interested in your size 6, if you keep the 8.

I'll let you know, Zap Today the 6 won, but yesterday it was the 8. I'm hoping for a least a couple days of consistency . . .!

I will take an 8 if someone has one up for grabs. ( I am having trouble sleeping and I feel naughty working the "exchange" underbelly at 2:30 am while my family sleeps ! ) LOL Now this is excitement.

Update from the Exchange Underbelly: Annagybe is taking the 10, and I am keeping the size 8.

That would leave the size 6 if anyone is interested. (Zap is getting her 6 from Natalie.)

If anyone else is interested in size 6, let me know. I will probably be packing it up and returning it on Monday, the 29th, if I don't hear anything.

ETA: Whew - caught the newest sale in time before mailing to Anna. It's half of my sale price to order her own! Love a good deal!

I know I'm a little late to this thread, but I purchased an 8 and kinda wish I had gone with a 6, and now they're completely sold out! Anyone out there with a 6 who wishes they had gotten an 8 instead and wants to swap?
