Look what I just ordered.

Here is how my thinking went. I was interested in the Rebecca Taylor. But that is $417 Canadian dollars (never mind shipping and duties). And it is sleeveless and made of ponte. Talk about seasonal confusion, right?

Then, here is this Club Monaco lovely, in a very similar cut, considered earlier this year by Anna for a wedding. A lovely silk dress (I saw in person) for only $149 Canadian. Yes, it is sleeveless, but it's meant to be a summer dress.

Impractical? Well, let's see how it looks on me. (It's returnable). And if I decide to keep it? Well, let's just say, I hereby vow to be a guest at some awards ceremony next June, come hell or high water. I am shopping for the life I want to live.
