Today I took a little trip to the nearest Nordstrom, which is now 40 min away instead of 10, and a nearby Nordstrom Rack, because I had returns to make of online orders and Nordstrom has been so slow in processing the refunds for my shipped returns.
I took a turn through both stores, as well as a walk through the mall, and not much appealed to me, with only a couple of exceptions at Anthro. Otherwise, stock seems to be low, quality is mostly mediocre, and current cuts and colors at retail are largely uninspiring to me.
However, the Rack had the Ted Baker burgundy and black zebra print sweater I looked at last fall, and didn’t order because it seemed a bit expensive. Now, of course, being after the season, it was hugely discounted. They had one in my size and I loved it when I tried it on, so it came home with me. It’ll be fun to pull it out next fall! It’s very soft and comfortable and fits beautifully. I was worried it might be too cropped, but it isn’t.
