Changing weather always brings new challenges for our wardrobes. Last year this time, I was just miserable about my clothing choices. Spring is very cold in eastern Ontario and being a person who is very cold generally does not help. For past couple of years, I start feeling thoroughly bored and frustrated with my wardrobe sometime around mid-February. ( reading YLF, I have now realized I am not alone in this). Winters are long and cold here and I get tired of wearing the same clothes for 4-5 months straight.
Two posts from Angie opened up my eyes to new options. http://youlookfab.com/2009/11/.....g-weather/ and http://youlookfab.com/2012/03/.....r-weather/
So this year, I knew exactly what I was looking for while shopping for spring. Warm clothes in bright springy colours with a dose of white in the outfit.
I am so happy to report that I feel satisfied and energized by my spring wardrobe so far. My shopping list is not complete. I still need a pair of light coloured booties/shooties/hi-top sneakers and a trench coat. ( I probably won't be able to buy these items anytime soon due to an unexpected dental procedure and a potential upcoming trip to Florida in summer but i am happy with where my spring wardrobe is right now and am enjoying the slow process of updating my wardrobe. Once again, big thanks to Angie and YLF. I am feeling so much more confident and happy with myself.
