Some WIWs and COS order, plus j. crew pants

First four are work WIWs from recent days.

1. Joie sweater dress

2. Halogen floral sweater, thrifted 80s style slouchy pants

3. Thrifted BR skirt, Target sweater.

4. COS merino dress

The only new item is the purple COS dress, which held up incredibly well. Next items are COS and j. crew purple pants for K/R. I think these pants fit right but would like to know what you all think. Also if the citron dress is too big.

How's the swingy sweater in 7? It's not a peplum but is suggestive of one.

The brown patterned skirt is a tiny bit too small in the waist, so I'm sizing up to see if that will work. It reminds me of an Alllsaints cut but in a scuba material.

Ha, that skirt was one of the things I was considering trying from COS. I thought it was like my bubble skirt but more wearable for every day. It looks really high waisted on you though. Is that just because the waist is too small, or is it meant to fit like that? In any case I think it would be better (for you and for me, if I do decide to try it...) if it sat a little lower. I do have the problem with my AS bubble skirt that I can't wear most of my tops (even the welted ones) untucked with it because they're too long and the poof of the skirt gets in the way. So I would make sure it works with some tops in your wardrobe.

I love both of the dresses, and the purple pants. Hey, do the purple pieces go with your iris coach bag? I know you were worried about what you could pair with it ...

I like the purple pants and think they fit very well. I love the plaid bubble skirt in #8. Like, I want to be a lemming love. It looks good with the top you're wearing it with and it probably would look nice with cropped or tucked tops. Like Diana said, I'd make sure you can wear it with the tops in your closet.

The swingy top in #7 looks good too, and would work nicely with your tube/slim fitting skirts.

I love the swingy top in #7. In fact, that is my favourite outfit. I also really like the purple dress and the purple pants, which seem to fit well from what I can see. Those pants are apparently good for a lot of different bodies. Did you have to shorten or can you wear as is? Were they petites?

Bubble skirt looks fun; I hope it will fit in the size up!

It's hard to see how the Maddie pants fit because of the way you're standing, the top that's covering the waistband, and your house shoes that are adjusting the length. But from what I can see, they look good.

I LOVE the swingy sweater yin #7, Una. My favourite outfit too. High five, Suz.

The citron dress will look great a size smaller.

I'm not sure of the style of skirt in #8. It's best with a tight tucked top, or cropped top. I think you're wearing a cropped top - no?

Angie, the skirt is too small and I am going to try a size up. This is a cropped sweater. It may not work at all but hopefully it will sit lower when the waist fits.

How should the Maddies fit? This is a regular 6 and I have the hems tucked under. The 6P was a better length but seemed a little too clingy. I can post a couple more pics.

The citron dress is sold out in XS! Oh well, back it goes.

I'd love to see a few more pics of the Maddie pants if you can manage them. The 6P does sound too small. This size can be shortened.

I hope the COS skirt works out because it's a very fun silhouette. The cropped top is a good pairing.

What a haul! Everything looks great on my mini pad. My favorite is also7. The fact that the sweater is not a true peplum seems a good thing. Less likely to date. The sweater dresses are wonderful. I'm sorry that the citron isn't available in xs. I really like the shape on you and was considering it myself, although the very bright color is a bit out of my comfort zone. Love the COS skirt and hope sizing up works.

Nonetheless - great haul! I am happy to see the purple olpants a mine are on the way to me. The color looks rich and dark enough to play with a lot of other colors - right?
Too bad the citron dress cannot be sized down - it is your color. Maybe keep an eye on it in case it comes back into stock?
The skirt looks fun, hopefully the next size up works well.
Love the outfits too and my favorite is #3 with a grey skirt because it is such an unusual shape for you - and very flattering.

I'm so glad to see you cause it scared me that you were saying you were going to be scarce!

Anyway, looking before I read as always, I just loved the purple pants picture. That was my fave. Then I saw it is a K/R, so I'm thinking K! But I can't judge the fit, just that I love the outfit on you.

My second fave was #8...cool and different!

I am waffling on the pants. They fit nicely but are they ME? I do some classic styles but not sure of these in color and style. Argh!

Very fun seeing you in all these different silhouettes! #3, 4 and 7 are my favorites. I love the purple pants and the last skirt as something different but still you-able (Unable?). COS is my first (shopping) stop next time I am in New York.

I always enjoy seeing what you wear! I like all of them (and wish the citron was available for you in a smaller size because as dresses go, it is totally you!). Count me as another whose favorite is #7. It is so perfect. And perfect for you! The top is such a wonderful way to soften up the skirt, but that shape of peplum-inspired, but yet... not, just keeps it totally unique and interesting without being too girly. It is genius!
