Hello fabbers,
A subdued week of clothing here.... but overall I think I’m pretty happy with these. Pic 2 is a work outfit, navy dress pants. I tried on approx 15 pairs of pants to find these dress pants that I am happy with. Worn with cobalt and black colourblock top... I’m not certain if the two blues should go together but I went with it as I was hurriedly getting ready.
I’m up for suggestions on improvements, or general comments! Thanks for looking as always. I'm especially intrigued to hear what people think of the tan topper.
Tomorrow I will try to resurrect an old green faux leather jacket which will be interesting.

2 looks fine but the pants look black on my monitor. I like all your outfitsi might change top or pants in 3-5 as the sweet floral does’t seem quite the right vibe with the The edgy look of the jeans you are wearing. Same with the flats. Maybe something strappy or mules?

Hi Joy thanks for looking. Yes I agree with you about the pants and shoes in 3/4/5. I think I will try it again with my normal cuff black slim jeans instead.

I like your floral pants.would like to see the tan topper with a scarf perhaps?

I like 1 and the pants are nice , probably dark navy as they look black. The tan topper is also good but I will try outfit #3 with navy or black top, tan topper and scarf to complement the outgioutfit, not floral top. Floral top is great but I think it would suit better with other pants.

No 1 is lovely! I like the trousers with the top, interesting sleeves. You could also add a necklace, earrings or a little scarf if or when you feel for more colour. I also like the colour combination in no 2. To my eye, the two blues look good together. 3-5 are nice, but if I may suggest a little option - perhaps another bottoms would work better with the floral top and the shoes.

I really love look 1. The rest of the looks are nice but I feel like they need one more item to make your style pop... either a scarf, some jewelry, a topper?

Jussie you have great clothing pieces. #1 is my favorite. I would add either a pair of bold earrings, a necklace, or a scarf for just a bit of color near your face. I love the floral print blouse. I bet it looks fab with jeans! Those black pants are edgy and fun!! How do they look with the gray sweater? If the proportions are right, I think those pieces would make a great outfit.

I really like your blue floral top and prefer it with the black cardigan.

I really like tan cardigan on you. The long lines and colour suit you.

#1 is a lovely combination. The patterned pants effectively liven up the grey top.

Super cute looks as always. Fun to see you in toffee too.

I think the shoes playing with the top on #3-4-5 is great.
Outfit #1 looks so wonderful and comfy, I would want to curl up with a cup of tea and visit with gfs ever time I put it on.

I can certainly see that the pants in 3/4/5 perhaps could be switched out for a neater look. And also it’s a good point that these outfits could benefit from some more scarves or jewelry, just a few more statement pops to give a focal point. Thanks again clever ladies :). I forgot my own rule of always including a third piece!

I is great, 2 could do with a third piece but the colour is gorgeous.

I am not sure about the tan/toffee cardigan - maybe with a cream/white top and blue jeans and boots?

These all look nice - I actually am less of a fan of the tan cardigan, just because you look so nice in bright colors, but with a scarf or necklace you could take care of that.

Sal,Bonnie and Shevia: Thanks for your comments! I have been in two minds about the tan topper, because I also feel like it does make me look a little tired. Also it's a slightly unusual shape. I will give it a couple more tries with different outfits just to check whether it can't be saved! Sal thanks for the compliment on my hair, you've made my day with that because hair is my nemesis....
