With the weather finally dipping down enough that I can wear some recent acquisitions, I thought I'd post some outfits I've been sporting.

#1,2 showcases a wonderful topper that is reversible. One side is mostly tan/khaki, and the other is blueish. You can see a part of the reverse side on my neckline closeup. I usually layer my necklaces so I've included some closeups in a couple of photos.

#3,4,5 is actually from yesterday. A pair of my trusty EF ponte pants, an EF silk knit faux wrap long sleeve top over a shell. And the new piece is the almond colored EF wrap. The shoes got their first wear,(the 4th photo is just to show them better) bought them on Saks off 5th during the summer for a ridiculously low price. I was worried that the toe would be too pointy for comfort, but I happily had them on from 8am till 630pm!!. And another necklace closeup.

#6 Is the same top combination from yesterday, but with a felted wool gray and black check EF skirt from last year with the black/grey Sorel boots from this season. The photo is just too dark to see the color variation.

I have been having similar style conversions as others here on YLF. More muted colors, softer fabrics etc. I wore a longish red merino wool cardigan on Wednesday, and just wasn't happy at all...boring...simple...blah. Put on that almond colored wrap yesterday and was so happy with the extra bit of style. And, it's amazing how a pair of shoes or boots that have something extra in the style department can elevate an outfit, and MOOD.
