Dear Fabbers,
Some outfits I have worn this week and some test outfits with recent thrifted vintage bags.
No 1 - 2 is an outfit I wore this week to work. A purple jacket on a column of black, colourful cotton scarf and a gold handbag. Here, no thrifted finds. I was very comfortable in this outfit, I like the stronger darker colours and contrasts.
No 3 - 4 is a test. New vintage handbag - brown patent with gold hardware. I tried to make an outfit around this bag. Salmon coloured jacket, cream blouse (also thrifted), cream trousers, blush suede Chelsea boots with polka dots and a very old Kenzo scarf in silk/cotton blend.
No 5 is another test. A patterned mint green jacket over a column of black. Mint green solid scarf. For fun, I added a large brown bag - a recent vintage find.
No 6 - the same jacket as in no 5, but with a red scarf. A red patent weekend bag - also thrifted. I think it is interesting how the red accents change the outfit so much.... However, not sure about any of the two outfits, this jacket is challenging to style.
No 7 Burgundy utility jacket with a large cotton scarf, black trousers and burgundy loafers. Lilac suede handbag. I wore this outfit for shopping yesterday.
What do you guys think about the outfits? Do you like my thrifted bags? Any feedback, reflections and styling ideas are much appreciated.
