I started 2016 saying, "I'll never wear cropped flares" and ended 2016 eating those words. Never say never!

My favorites include a mix of old and new, and here they are along with the reasons why I chose them:

#1 - I didn't keep the original pic, so I re-created this one from earlier this fall and wore it today. I love the blazer because it's blue and it's houndstooth. The Teddie pants are a shade of teal green.
#2 - The top has sparkly threads that run through it that match the gold shoes. Another pair of Teddie pants, these are burgundy.
#3 - The blazer has elbow patch sleeves!
#4 - My favorite sweater, it's navy/cream, wool and doesn't itch, paired with my favorite jeans of all time and OTK boots
#5 - For as much complaining as I've done about showing my waist, I love the bow at the waist of these forest green lined linen culottes!
#6 - I love the lightness of this outfit
#7 - These Martie crops are a fav
#8 - A drapey plaid shirt and jeans with twisted hems - love, love
#9 - My favorite blazer of all time
#10 - My favorite fit and flare dress

Some things I noticed:

• There's very little black
• A lot of my favorites are from J Crew
• As much as I love skirts and dresses, most of these are pants, some of which I had to alter, but it's worth my time to do that because I love wearing them.
• Several things here are Angie's recommendations. You absolutely can't go wrong with an Angie recommendation.
