Here are some Canadian brands, ranging from well known to very small. There's no specific criteria, just brands I have my eye on as local alternatives to 1) the global brands we well know about, and 2) smaller American or international brands which may not even ship to us. Some of the brands I learned about here from Angie or other posters.

I have had a lot of fun compiling this list as the algorithms started to catch on and introduce me to many new or new-to-me brands, as well as remembering brands I well knew about in the 80s and 90s which somewhere along the line got overshadowed by globalization.
