Happy Valentine's Day.
56 years ago today Mr. Maven and I got pinned. (This was the real commitment day.)
16 years ago today my son and D-I-L got engaged.
Here's my Feb 14 outfit. LL Bean fleece pullover and new NYDJ that I bought weeks ago but hadn't worn yet. To my surprise, they are a good match.
Worn with a pair of my comfortable Christmas socks. I call them Sammy Socks, after a certain 3-year-old. The red color actually is a pretty good match for the jeans.
And my current Easy Spirit Travel Times. Every year I buy a new pair of these for my slipper/indoor shoes. I promote the old ones to just outside the kitchen door for quick trips outdoors.
Mr. Maven went to Safeway at 6 am, and as predicted, the store was full of men buying flowers. He bought some red roses for me as well. And some red wine for our steak dinner tonight.
