So I was all set to snap try out two pairs of wedge sneakers, as discussed here:

Both items were at Bloomies. I signed up and went through the entire checkout, but hitting "place order" just sent me back to the shopping cart. I closed my browser and tried again. Then I tried a different browser. Same thing. I opened a customer service chat, and the agent said she could place the order for me if I typed my name, address, etc. into the chat window... fine, except she is in the Philippines. I said that I don't want to send my info overseas through a chat room, and asked if Bloomingdales could email me when the issue is resolved. Of course the agent seems to have no way to contact anyone else within the company, and can only chat... but they expect me to trust this person with my home address and phone number and credit card info?
Sigh... well, I guess I just saved myself $300. I should be happier about that.
Any chance than you guys have seen this issue before and found a solution?
