Today was a snowy day but I really wanted to wear this new blouse. I saw it a few times and resisted bc it was part of a Disney Snow White collection. Seemed kind of young for almost 45 yr old me ! But I really love the pattern and the sleeves.
So I brought it home

I am having troubke with pants as this whole ankle length thing really doesn't work in the northeast in winter! These are old navy velvet pixies. I roll d the ankle but my socks were falling down and my legs were cold so back to unrolled.

Anyone else having trouble with this ?

No help on the pants, but the top doesn't read too young at all- I like it!

I don't think the top looks too young at all! It's pretty and it looks good on you! I also love the blue boots. Nice outfit!

The entire outfit, shirt included, looks great. Can not relate to cold weather yet, I am not displeased to say.

Alas, I can't speak w authority on rolled hems in the cold. I tried it myself today but it was in the 40's and warmed up a bit. I wore lace trouser socks underneath and rolled my hem up to meet the very top of my boot. I didn't notice much exposure. But for snow- how awesome!- I wouldn't fiddle w rolled hems. I'm ALL for staying warm and dry. I believe the look still works unrolled.

Great outfit, beautiful blouse, you look lovely. With rolled pants in cold weather I wear hose knee high nude and I am worm enough, so that is my suggestion for that problem.

The shirt doesn't read juvenile at all. As I read I was picturing something much different, along the lines of the many polyester dress up princess costumes I have witnessed on my DD and 4 neices. All of them pink, purple, yellow, blue, or red. This entire outfit looks great, and the sleeves add a romantic, feminine touch.

That blouse is beautiful ! Why "Young"? A pretty floral blouse in my opinion can be worn at any age. You look fab in it. As per the pants, sorry, I am of no help. I run cold and I would never wear rolled up pants in the snow ! You could wear funny woolen knee-high socks, if you like that look.

Your blouse is beautiful and doesn't read in the least bit juvenile.
I think the pants look just as good unrolled, so I'd go with staying cosy!

Your blouse is absolutely beautiful and does not look too young. I think that the pants work either way -- rolled or unrolled. I say go with what is most comfortable and weather appropriate. I am also from the North East and will not be showing any skin when the temps are this cool. My longer pants are in play now.

In answer to why young it is just that it is part of the Lauren Conrad Smow White collection.., I was afraid I was missing something by thinking it was really pretty but since fabbers tell me it is good .. it is good!

I gues I have to get my eye used to long pants again. I have been wearing rolled hems a lot!

OMG, snow already??? And wow, those sleeves on your otherwise beautiful blouse, I understand now why you couldn't resist!:-) Solution for the ankle rolled pants in the cold could be some knee highs or even tights under the pants &/or higher shaft booties they are comming in this season...BUT this is a gorgeous gilet, too. I'm in awe!! thanx for posting!!!

I love this blouse on you, Momo! It even matches your phone case.

No help on the trousers length. I think that velvet, being a more luxe fabric, looks fine full length. As long as it's casually draped and not awkwardly pulled all the way down over boot tops it would look fine to my eye. (I watched a teen girl fix up her mum's cuffs the other day, to much hilarity of the "I'm not going out with you looking like that!" variety.)

Great outfit! I feel your pain. I have yet to figure out how to make fashion work for November through March, as well as the second half of July through the first half of September #canadianproblems
