Hello.

I'm starting to reach for sneakers more often as the weather warms. Here's some recent outfits.

#1 to #3 - Sneakers and Trousers
These tan and white windowpane trousers are my favorite addition for spring this season. I adore the look of trousers paired with sneakers.

#4 to #6 - Sneakers and Cords
Getting in one more wear of my blackberry cords before it gets too hot to wear them. These gold slip on Eccos were a slam dunk, I'm pleasantly surprised at how versatile metallic footwear is. I'm starting to think about adding more metallic sneakers in the future. Maybe silver?

#7 to #9 - Sneakers and Jeans
Jeans is another item I'm trying to wear as much as I can before the weather warms up.

You look fab in all the three outfits but # 1 is particularly inspirational to me. Now that my color of the year is cream, I would wear that outfit in a heartbeat if I had the pieces. The pants are beautiful, I love windowpane pattern. And I love your golden slipons! I support the idea of adding more metallic footwear - it is versatile and always gives the look a special touch.

Good sneaker collection! You are pairing them nicely.

My sneaker capsule has grown as my tolerance for heels has diminished. I need to get real about some of the heeled boots in my closet. There are a couple of “day” pairs that I didn’t touch this winter and I wonder if it’s time for them to go. I do keep some dressier ones for occasions. But I now have sneakers in a variety of colors and fabrications that take me year-round! I love that they are now acceptable for almost anywhere.

I have also been trading in my boots for sneakers as the weather is warming up. I am usually a total boot person but wasn't feeling it as much this year so the sneakers are a welcome change.

I like all 3 of these but the first is my favorite (although 2 and 3 are more how I actually dress :)) Love the tonal aspect of it and the pants are great. Nice jacket too.

Janet - I am firmly on team sneaker. I only wear heeled shoes for formal business meetings and low, block heeled boots with jeans for a couple months out of the year. In business casual settings, I wear sneakers as often as possible (just leather one's). I certainly appreciate that fashion sneakers are more popular now and my feet are much happier for them too.

Angie - *happily collects killer rating* I adore these trousers, especially with fashion sneakers. It's a fun pairing. Whites seem to work really well with my two tones hair too (compared to all the ivory I wore during the winter months). I'll be keeping an eye out for more white in the future.

I like how you created a sort of false suit in the first outfit - great look. Always a fan of the berry cords and the bright blue is your color! I know I am an outlier with this but I just don't find sneakers as comfortable as well made leather shoes. This might change of course!

Jaime - I've learned that not all fashion sneakers are comfortable. I seek out one's with arch support and padding on the soles, or use inserts to increase the comfort. Thanks for looking!
