Our heat wave continues, but will ease off for a few days soon. Unfortunately, the weekend's lightning storm set off 2,500 fires in the No. Cal area. I went outside this morning to water some plants and found it hard to breathe. Plus internet out for a couple of days and rolling blackouts.

But, on a cheerier note! Here's a couple of skirt outfits. I went through my closet this morning and saw that my summer tops are almost all a longer length, but it seemed to me it would be better to have a shorter top with a longer skirt.

1-3 lace skirt today. No, my iPhone isn't smeared--it's from the strange light outside. With black tee and BR denim jacket from a coupe of years ago. 2 & 3 are with a shorter tee a few weeks ago.

4 is my rip skirt. It will be good for our cruise, now scheduled for November 2021. Also good on a warm day or over a swimsuit. I don't like to tuck tops in, but I was showing the whole skirt.

5-6 a couple shots outside back bedroom door. My window scene. There are hills in #5 and mountains in #2, just so you know. There are not yet contained grass fires north, south, and west of us, but nothing close by.

7, just for fun, pulled out by DH: long skirt from 18 years ago--we'd gone to a funeral in Yuma, where it was over 100° that April day. It was kind of floaty and I loved it.
