Well, why shout when you can SING?

I've been working on my style direction, musing and sometimes bemused, since January. I've never found a great style descriptor, but I've found a style rubric helpful:
Form with Flow
Energy with Ease

The "form with flow" part is straightforward. I like a balance of structure with drape and movement in an outfit. The second line "energy with ease," is a little trickier. While I like dramatic, high contrast looks, I want to look approachable and "at ease" in my body and my surroundings. I want my best looks to encourage and befriend, rather than try to outshine people around me. I'm also more interested in "signature style" than "being in style."

To put it another way: I want my outfits to SING:

1. Simple: unfussy, with that elusive "effortless" quality
2. Imaginative: A bit of drama, creativity and flair
3. Nuanced: Interesting details that are well curated
4. Graceful: Fitting the environment, with good quality and fit.

Now, off to muse some more about which current outfits meet this criteria, possible remixing within my closet, and ways to judiciously (and within budget) add to my "repertoire" for spring and summer!

I'm on the hunt for inspiration! Anybody spot any "SING-ing" outfits recently?
