Simple WIW - need your opinion

It continues to be *very* warm where I live - so the only way to really welcome in the new season of style is to change up colors, accessories, etc.

This is a very casual outfit for a day of working at home and then a meeting this evening. I have the necklace on today, but will change to the infinity scarf tonight - because the temp will drop a few degrees.

I'd like your opinion on this top. I got it at the last YLF clothes-swap. The sleeves are kind of a shredded lace. Do they look too young for me? Or, do they make my shoulders look too broad? I *did* notice when I looked at the pics that the sleeves do kind of repeat the piecey look of my hair! Also, is the scarf too much when paired with the sleeves?

Skull Necklace - hand-me-down from niece
Scarf - infinity - thrift store
Black Leather belt - GAP

I LOVE the top (and outfit) on you. I prefer it without the scarf. Keeps it a little tougher and sophisticated.

Goodness Marley, I really like this outfit. I think it's VERY you. There is a fab contrast between the feminine and the tough. I like the sleeve detail on the top and I like with or without the scarf.

You just cracked me up I was expecting jeans and a white top, since you said "simple" LOL. This outfit is far from simple. I love it. I prefer it without the scarf too, but I think you should add it for the colder temps in the PM.

Another vote for no scarf. Can you bring along a jacket? The top looks great on you and not too young. You are right, the sleeves look great with your hair.

Beautiful and gorgeous color on top. wish i was creative enough to have your vision. I'd lose the scarf too...not a fan of the colors with the outfit. Love the sleeves, looks like you have toned shoulders so show em off!

I think the combo of the sleeve with the longer short and flat distressed booties gives it just the right vibe. Not too young. I prefer w/o the scarf - it has enough interest without it.
