I'm trying to take What I Wore photos when I can now that we are getting more light each day. I saw sun driving to work this morning!

This is a somewhat typical example of what I wear to work.

A big change is that I wear dresses and skirts less often, and have shifted to pants or "smart jeans" (dark, uniform washes in ink, burgundy, or gray.) I tend to pair this with silk or polyester blouses, and with scarves (or else the blouse has a pussycat now that I tie scarf-style.)

I now work in an office with a manufacturing shop on site but a bus-cas (and more casually leaning) dress code, so again if I wear a dress I stand out. I still wear dresses on occasion but they aren't part of my "work uniform."
There have also been recent changes at work (basically I'm filling a vacancy from my manager's departure for a month and a half, doing a lot of things I've never or only rarely done and way out of my comfort zone) so I'm striving for professional and approachable.

The ring I got engaged in last year, which I love but Is a fashion ring and wasn't intended to be permanent, is grounded temporarily as the marble stone popped out and needs to be repaired. I'm wearing a silver "Möbius strip" ring that I picked up at a boutique in December. It's a very comfortable shape; we haven't decided what our actual wedding rings will be like, but I'm more drawn to interesting shapes or textures vs. sparkly gems.

Wearing:
Cobalt drapey faux wrap blouse
Ponte skinnies, which I wear bigger than the model as this makes them function well as work appropriate straight leg pants
Black suede quilted, double zip boots
Knotted Cobalt and gold patterned scarf
Cobalt cross body bag
Emerald specs
Silver ring

Smelling: Serge Lutens Chergui, via a sample (it's LOVELY.) I am journaling my perfume explorations so might try sneaking them into my WIW posts.
