Here’s a pic I snapped at the last concert I went to. It’s a different venue, but people were dressed similarly. (Pic 2 is last night’s venue, just for fun). I’d like to dress up some, but still fit with the general vibe. There is one woman who is wearing a pale pink skirt with tiers of ruffles that fits the vibe of Angie’s recent tulle skirt post, with pale pink hose and low pumps to match (the railing hides most of her shoes). I don’t want to be that far out of the norm (even though I liked having her add that flavor).
RL, i think of the second dress as dressier than running around town. Maybe I should do more photos to show it better.
Sal, if I’d worn the dress yesterday, I would have definitely needed something underneath it. I was thinking of a fitted bodysuit, with stretchy knit sleeves.
Z, they’re my kelty loafers. Not really dressy, but see the practical shoes in the first pic here.
Angie, ooooh you reminded me that I have Caslon knit blazers.
Cardiff, I was Indeed inspired! Thanks for remembering the recorder. Stabat Mater was the centerpiece of the concert.
Maybe the red sandal clogs with the black & white dress?
