I have two knee-length puffers (one olive green Lole and one burnt orange LL Bean), one waist-length puffer (brown Columbia) and two vests (one black Jacob and one olive green Lululemon). I don't have all of the puffers in finds. I live in a cold place (-30 C is not uncommon) and I am always cold. We are spending this winter in Montreal which is colder.
My thoughts about my puffers.
Lole - This is a Canadian brand. My puffer is about 12 years old. It is very well made and very warm. The pockets have been replaced a few times because my dog ate them. Unfortunately, I left treats in them and she got into the coats. Then she ate my pockets. Thankfully no damage to the outside. I considered this my dog walking coat. It is starting to look worn out. Canadians know how to make puffers. I have learned that.
LL Bean - Gorgeous colour and cut. Very flattering. I bought the warmest coat LL Bean makes. I freeze in this coat. Also, the pockets are not big enough for my things.
Columbia - I have no use for a short puffer.
Jacob Vest - This is a Canadian brand that does not exist anymore. Sigh. My vest is about 12 years old. Very warm and well made. Super cute.
Lululemon Vest - This is a Canadian brand. The vest is very warm and flattering. Works well under coats, unlike my Jacob vest which is very puffy.
I am planning to buy another puffer in the next year or two. Soia & Kyo is the brand I am looking at. Lole is also very good.
