Short answer: yes! I wish I could get away with it! But wavy hair that is dyed because it is really only maybe 35% grey just doesn't cut it when it comes to an interesting color job. Dooooo eeeet!

Yes!! I would love to do a colour in my hair but my hairdresser said no. She said it works best if you are blonde, grey or dark and I am too in between for the contrast to work. It would look great on you!

Updated with photo in first post! It came out a cool dark blue that I love. It's higher up than I expected but she wanted to cover some last faded red. I didn't bleach so this is just a stain but i love it!

She said it will fade but that bleached hair fades faster. My hair sucked in all the stain - no color washed out when she rinsed! So hopeful it will fade pretty.

It's very subtle. I like it a lot; it's cool and mysterious. FWIW, last year I got a streak of violet to cover the grey skunk streak. NO one noticed except for maybe two people (not including my husband). They really liked it.
