My short burgundy puffer was perfect for a late September/early October trip to England and Scotland to celebrate our 20th anniversary last year. It hits at high hip. I also had a rain jacket for rainy days that I could even layer over this thin down jacket. It’s REI so it should be available in a few colors this fall.
