I have not been able to stop thinking about Angie's post and wondering if I could out together something similar from my closet. I pulled out all of the pieces that I could find and had some fun playing. I discovered that I am not in love with my knit blazer - it is pretty worn, doesn't fit as well as I would like, and I think I would prefer something with a little more contrast - like the black and white stripe in Angie's post. I also realized that I don't have anything resembling a tee shirt in my wardrobe. I have never liked the shape of traditional tees, but I think I would like to find something that would work for outfits like this. I also like the idea of a long, fluid fitting graphic tank (like this one perhaps: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1.....wars-white) I think that would be really fun! So now I have three new items on my wish list... This is not a very practical look for my climate, unless it is winter time, but it would be really fun for traveling to cooler parts of the country. I could also see wearing this for a causal evening out with the family - things are mostly very causal where we live!
The following pictures are of the looks I was able to put together using the slightly dressier tops, or sleeveless camis that I already own (along with one tee borrowed from husband's closet) and nearly every causal pair of pants that I have. I limited my shoe choices to my most comfortable, non-sandal shoes.
I would welcome any suggestions, critiques and input!
