I took back the dress that got mixed reviews...

Hi, Carole! I think this dress fits you beautifully and looks fab! If it's dated, I'm totally missing it! I think a well fitting sheath is always FAB!

I also love the black & white because it wil play so nicely with any sort of summer brights (like your cute sweater!)

It's not as long as the other dress, so is that the 'dated' concern? If so, can it be let down at all?

This one looks a great deal more sophisticated than the other, IMO. Not dated at all! I love both of the sandals on the other thread...maybe try one of them with it?

Love it. Great fit and timeless print and color combo. I think it's really hard not to emotionally attach when you KNOW something is old that it doesn't show its age.

Shannon, Kelly and Sunita, thank you for the nice compliments and good point about the sheath style being classic. I guess it's a reminder to stick with classic shapes and styles, at least for me. I just don't wear dresses that much. I need staying power in my closet .

I think this is a great classic dress Carole! If the print were in a different color we may have a different story, but with the black and white it's pretty timeless. Looks really good!
